Tutorial to Create Painted Easter Eggs in Photoshop

Step 10:
Make a new layer and in the layers panel, drag it below the rabbit layers.
Step 11:
Finally, I have made a very quick zigzag shape with the pen tool.
Step 12:
This is an important step. Hide both the guide layers (click the eye next to the layer) then SHIFT+CRTL+E to merge all VISIBLE layers.
Step 13:
Ok, this is where things get interesting. CRTL+T to activate the transform mode, then right-click and choose ‘warp’ from the drop down list. At the top of the canvas you will now see some options. Next to where it says ‘warp’, click the drop down menu and select ‘Bulge’. Increase the bend until both the top and bottom of the layer fit the egg guide (don’t forget to unhide it first). You may need to re-position the design at times.
Step 14:
Hit enter to finish the warp, then CRTL+T again and another warp, but this time use the handlebars to fill out the sides:
Step 15:
Ok, now drag the egg design onto your open bird nest picture. CRTL+T again and scale, rotate and move into position:
Step 16:
If you change the blend mode to ‘Multiply’ it will look much more realistic.
Step 17:
Now in the last step we had a problem because our design overlapped the other egg. This is easy to resolve. At the bottom of the layers panel you will see a little gray rectangle with a white circle in it. This is the layer mask icon, and very useful it is too. Click to activate and you will notice that a white layer appears next to the egg design layer. Now we are going to paint on this new white layer. Painting black hide the egg design, while painting white unhides it.
Step 18:
As a last step, hide the egg layer and activate the clone tool (S). ALT+click on a clean part of the egg then click on one of the dark brown spots. You will see that the spots disappear.
